CFA® Level I tutoring over video with a charterholder
At Level I, the multiple choice traps are what cost you points.
That's what I teach. My course space shows me which ones you fall into.
€49 a month after the trial, no commitment.
The Level I course space is complete and open today.

The exam format
An easy question, and one option that is true but does not answer it.
Under the indirect method, depreciation is added back to net income most likely because it:
- Ais an operating expensetrue, off topic
- Breduced net income without using cashprecise
- Creduces cash from operationsa trap
It's the most common trap at Level I. The course space teaches you to spot it in seconds, because you'll have met it a hundred times before exam day.
The curriculum
All ten Level I subjects, in your course space.
The ten subjects of the official curriculum, written and checked by me. Every chapter is interactive, every question is in the exam format, in English, with its trap explained.

Figures from my course space as of 25 October 2026.
The real risk
They tell you it takes 300 hours. They never tell you which ones.
In three years of teaching I have never seen anyone fail for lack of hours. People fail because nobody told them where their hours were going.
Where the 300 hours go at Level I
Weeks of reading, the first real questions three weeks before the exam, and the same time on every subject, including the ones you already know.
You'll probably still do the same 300 hours. Here, you and I will know at any moment where they're going.
How most candidates split their 300 hours
How we split them together
- 300 h
- reported per level, on average
- 1 in 2
- fails, all levels combined
- 60%
- of those hours go into reading
CFA Institute figures, rounded. The split of hours is what I see in class.
Your online course space
Your course space, in five points.
That's where your hours go between two classes. Everything is written in house, on the official curriculum, and it works on your phone.
You learn, interactively
Short chapters where you touch everything. Every formula reads in words, in symbols and in numbers. Every definition opens a picture. The curves, you move them yourself.
La convexity d'une obligation explique pourquoi deux titres de même duration ne réagissent pas pareil.
Convexity
The curvature of the relationship between a bond price and its yield. The stronger it is, the more the price rises when yields fall, and the less it falls when they rise.
Tap the word, the curve appears
Drag the yield
You practise like in the exam
You do three option questions in English, with a trap in each one and the trap explained right after. You also sit full mocks. Every answer is corrected straight away, at your level.

Corrected straight away, with the trap explained.
You track your skills
Every answer is linked to a precise skill in the curriculum. Your map tells you what is solid, fragile or critical, and your week plan rebuilds itself from there.

The right dose of AI, the kind that makes you think
An AI trained for this course, Sniper, does what a teacher can't do on every single answer. And it stops there.
- It grades your written answers against the exam guideline, in seconds.
- It explains a passage you don't get, at your level, by asking you the question before it.
- It rebuilds your work plan from your skills map.
- It never writes for you.
- It doesn't give you the answer before you've tried.
- A no AI mode switches everything off, to practise like on exam day.
The session with me
With one to one tutoring, at €179 a month, we meet for an hour every month. Your map tells me which skills are critical, and the session is built on them.
The three skills I pick for your session
- 1FSA · Indirect cash flow, which way the adjustments go
- 2Quant · Reading a distribution without computing it
- 3Fixed Income · Duration and convexity, the sign
- 110 minWarm upThree quick questions on the notions your map flags. We see straight away where it sticks.
- 235 minThe hard point, in detailWhy it traps you, the method that works, an example we do together.
- 315 minExam formatA vignette or questions in the exam day format, solved and corrected live.
One hour over video, just the two of us
On Google Meet, weekday evenings or weekend mornings. No group, no replay of a lesson made for someone else.
Prepared before we meet
I look at your skills map, your latest answers and your written work. I arrive with the three points that cost you the most, and the questions that go with them.
Teaching, not just correcting
On each point I explain why it traps you, I show you the method that works, and we do an example together before moving on to exam format questions.
Your sheet at the end
You leave with the session sheet: your hard points written up cleanly, the method, and what you work on until next time.
No card. You then choose between the full course and one to one tutoring.
Everything is built on the official curriculum, written and checked by a charterholder who teaches all three levels.
Every month
A live session with me, on your questions.
One evening a month, over video, for all my students. During the month, you leave your questions in your course space. On the evening of the live session, I take the ones that come up most, I redo the calculations that cost points, and I answer live. If you can't make it, the recording is in your course space the next day.
Next live session
One Tuesday evening a month, 8 pm Paris time
Over video, for all three levels

What my students write after my classes.
« Time flies in his classes. The material comes alive, and the explanations always land exactly right. »
« Really effective preparation. Straight to the point, difficult notions become simple, and not a minute is wasted. I gained confidence at every step. »
« Everything is illustrated, nothing stays abstract. You understand the why behind every answer, not just the rule. »
Excerpts from evaluations of my institute classes, reworded and translated.
